YOUNG HOLLYWOOD INTERNSHIPS
Young Hollywood is one of the world's leading next-generation entertainment companies, becoming one of the most distinct and recognizable brand names. Based out of Los Angeles, Young Hollywood is looking for interns who are passionate to learn about online entertainment production.
Internships are available each semester (fall, spring, and summer). All internships are unpaid and available only to students enrolled in an accredited academic program at the time of the internship. Internship applications will only be considered if you are seeking an internship for credit. Interns will be expected to commit to 2-3 days a week for a minimum of 3 months.
Young Hollywood is seeking interns interested in production, marketing and creative writing. Interns will have the opportunity to experience pre and post production distribution and marketing strategies. Main duties include writing and publishing written content for "The Scene" blog on the Young Hollywood website, researching background information for upcoming studio and field shoots, contributing to social media efforts, and assisting with day-to-day assignments.
This unpaid internship is guaranteed to be a unique opportunity if you are looking to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Interns will gain practical, real-world writing and production experience. Additionally, interns will gain marketing experience through our mass audience over social media, including over 2.5 million Twitter followers @younghollywood.

Current Available Internships
1) YH Production Intern
The Production intern will primarily help our Talent Booker and Studio Coordinator in both maintaining the studio, as well as helping find new talent to bring in. This intern will gain invaluable experience by working in our intimate production studio, as well as learn what it takes to coordinate and produce content for an entertainment company.
Duties:
- Research prospective talent to bring into the studio
- Help prepare and execute shoots in the studio
- Keep up with studio maintenance
- Fulfill other daily tasks to help the studio and future shoots run smoothly
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production a plus
- Pro-active behavior
- Efficient follow through
- Passion for production and the entertainment industry

2) YH Post Production Intern
The Post Production intern will help assist our Operations Manager and Post Production Supervisor in keeping the editing process running smoothly. The Post Production intern will gain hands-on-experience, as they will be working side by side with editors and assisting the Operations manager with daily production tasks.
Duties:
- Managing Young Hollywood drop box
- Create graphics/logos for the Young Hollywood team
- Help Operations Manager coordinate and execute shoots
- Assist the Operations Manager in daily production tasks
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Drop box, Google Drive, InDesign
- Attention to detail
- Passion for editing and post production
- Strong organizational skills
- ProTools knowledge a plus!
3) YH Editorial Intern
The Editorial intern will write articles that engage and educate fans on what’s happening in Hollywood now. The Editorial Intern will be able to create an extensive portfolio of written work with Young Hollywood
Duties:
- Create pitches for Editor to curate
- Write multiple articles for “The Scene”
- Research new material and new talent for YH to feature
Qualifications:
- A background in journalism and/or blogging, whether that be coursework or internship related
- Excellent written communication skills
- Pro-active behavior
- Ability to write articles in an efficient and timely manner
4) YH Social Media Intern
The Social Media Intern will help our Social Media Coordinator create and execute social media strategies, as well as help operate Young Hollywood’s social media handles. With Young Hollywood interacting with over 5 million fans and followers on a daily basis, this intern will gain invaluable experience in multitasking social media networks, as well as learning how to produce engaging content.
Duties:
- Helping operate social media platforms during shoots
- Creating logos/graphics for social media use
- Implement strategies to improve engagement through social media, as well as expanding the Young Hollywood fan base
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, Periscope, Vine, and Instagram
- Previous experience in Marketing/Social Media branding a plus
- Pro-active behavior
5) YH Business Intern
The Business Intern will help create and implement business strategies to help grow Young Hollywood’s influence. This intern will get exposure to how an entertainment company operates, as well as get to work directly with our CEO. Along with gaining hands-on-experience, the Business intern will have the opportunity to apply his/her own business expertise and knowledge to Young Hollywood’s growing institution.
Duties:
- Research profitable business endeavors for Young Hollywood
- Improve the effectiveness of Young Hollywood’s already standing business strategies
- Help formulate new business objectives for Young Hollywood
- Assist CEO with daily business-related tasks
Qualifications:
- A background in Business, whether that be coursework or internship related
- Excellent research skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on specific projects
- Fast learner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Drop Box
6) YH Graphics Intern
The graphic design intern will work directly with the social media and marketing teams by brainstorming and assisting with creating company-related projects such as logos, content art-work and a variety of different graphics to push engagements through our social media platforms. This intern will gain exposure to the world of entertainment through the art of designing digital content.
Duties:
- Assist social media manager and marketing team with creating unique creative content
- Photo editing, cropping and retouching
- Generating content for social media platforms
- Design logos and headers for YH channels
- Assist in engaging with and maintaining online communities
- Help in creation of decks and proposals
- Help marketing team with marketing materials
Qualifications:
- A background in graphic design / whether that be coursework or internship related
- Excellent editing skills with Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop / Lightroom / Illustrator etc.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on specific projects
